| SCADA/HMI Workstation Screen Saver 1.38 |
|
Almost all SCADA/HMI workstations share a common problem: annoying burn-in monitor effect. No matter if classic
CRT or modern LCD monitors are used, due to mostly static screen graphics, sooner or later you will have those
graphics on your screens even when you power them off (ghosting).
This is a screensaver that covers just a part of the screen at a time, enough to prevent screen damage but allowing
data and alarms monitoring for operators.

A cool tool, but not what I was looking for I was looking for a tool that would run a screen-saver pattern on part of my windows screen. I use a Laptop computer and a CRT display, and extend the windows desktop onto both of them. I keep SCADA-type stuff on one (one side, if you will), and actively interact with the other side . . . so I am concerned with burn-in. But it is probably too much to hope for, for a screen-saver to monitor half of a 1920x768 virtual screen, and run pixel-saver patterns on the relatively inactive half. If anyone has a clue if there is a screen-saver program ...
| TweakWindow 1.5 |
|
TweakWindow is a handy window enhancement utility with a wealth of options. You can set your own transparency options, hide, minimize, roll up, place a window on top of all others, make it a "ghost" or even change a window's icon/title. All this can be done via hot keys, through a window's system menu or by adding appropriate buttons to a window itself. No one will be able to see what windows you have opened. Try it FREE. See how cool it is!

I had previously downloaded ClockRack2 and due to not understanding transpaency settings fully, managed to cause the clocks to entirely disappear! TweakWindow enabled me to find my erstwhile invisible program so I consider it good value as I got 2 for 1.
Homepage The Homepage tells that TweakWindow is free. But it is only a test version.

Stereographic Suite works well I registered my copy of Stereographic Suite. The depth map generator does a good job of making basic depth maps; the texture maker allows you to easily personalize the stereogram; the stereogram maker is very intuitive and fast.
First impression is great What I've seen so far is better than what I've found in most of the other programs for Stereogram generation.
The only thing that I would find helpful would be a greater range of import filters for 3D- gaphics as 3d- studio is neither cheap nor easy to use.

Your website indicates that PhotoAcute Studio works on Mac as well as PC. I downloaded it and clicked on the download and ended up with a lot of jibberish text... no program. I'm assuming it is therefore PC only, and I can't comment on that as I don't have a PC and there was no download for my Mac.
PhotoAcute or not? Well, it`s nothing for Me.But a simple solution for right person.
